Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone’s ready for the big day on Monday! I am a huge Halloween fan! I am so excited this year to dress up my new little addition as well! We are going in a mother/daughter costume as Star Wars Leia with Endor outfit and Wicket the Ewok. It will be so fun to share Halloween with her for the first time. Ok, enough of my new Mommy adventures….

Speaking of Halloween, I also have a new spooky, dark mistress print to complete the collection that I wanted to introduce to you that are now available on my website and Etsy.

Coming soon is some skull jewelry to go along with the Dark Mistress Collection above. Look out for the new pieces coming later this fall.

I also wanted to share the custom cake toppers that I created my little cousin’s wedding. She is getting married in a few weeks and I wanted to make her something really special. She asked me to create cake toppers for her. Check them out below:

Halloween is around the corner!

Yay, Halloween is around the corner and I have been hurrying to get some new Dark Mistress Prints finished. I just finished the second in the series of Dark Mistresses. The first piece was the Snake Mistress and now I am adding the Bat Mistress to the collection. Check her out below:

Fall is Here Again…

Its been too long since my last post. I have been trying to find a minute to update on what been going on with Tsai-fi but I am sure as some of you know an infant is a lot of work! Whew, I totally respect my Momma way more than ever. I love my little lady but between taking care of her and my day job, I am exhausted.

Now on to new stuff, I have been working on a new set of Mistresses. I have been inspired by Halloween so I wanted to do a new set of dark girlies. The first one is the Snake Mistress, Medusa is her more common name. I will be releasing two more before Halloween. Here is she is, you gotta check her out on my site. I will also be adding her to my Pingg site so she can be used for Halloween evites.

This weekend, I will be vending at Crafty Bastards again this year on October 1. The show is from 10am – 5pm in Adams Morgan, Washington DC. You gotta check it if you are in the hood! I am next to the Potbelly stand at the Show. See ya there!

FInished Custom Tattoo Art

Here is the finished Custom Sea themed tat that I did for a client. I had blogged about the art earlier to show you all the finished drawing. Now the art has come to life in color. Check it out below!

Bamboo Bunch of Cuteness…..

Here is the new piece I just finished for the Forest Friends show at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland in Los Angeles. The piece is called the Bamboo Bunch and it is inspired by some of the happy creatures of the Asian Bamboo forests. The piece is Goauche on a watercolor art board. The show opens September 10 and goes to October 10. There is an opening party from 6-1o on September 10.

Hot, Hot Summer!

It’s been way too long since my last post. I have not been keeping my New Year’s resolution to myself to post weekly. I blame it on taking on way too much because I am such an overachiever. What have I been busy with you ask. I have been burning the midnight oil on my freelance business, working on a new long term tsai-fi project that is top secret for a client, tattoo art for another client and a painting for a gallery show plus taking care of my little princess who is almost 6 mos. old. Time flies, it seems like a week ago that I was complaining about being 40 weeks pregnant. I will also be vending at my second crafty show of the year in a few weeks too.

Here is a sneak peek of the tattoo art that I am working on. It is not colored yet but I wanted to give you a first look at this fun piece. The client wanted a half sleeve on her upper left arm that was sea themed with two mermaids. Check it out below:

Next, I am working on a new painting for a gallery show in Los Angeles called Happy Creatures of the Forest which begins in September. I have a few ideas and I will be sharing sketches soon.

I will be vending at the Ballston Arts and Crafts Market in Arlington, VA next month on August 13. Check out the Flyer below for more info.

A Spring Thing and New Things

Its been so long since my last post! I have been lost in the world of babyland. I have also started working again. But I have some fun new updates that I can finally share. I want to introduce you to some new jewelry pieces and I am also vending in a local handmade arts/crafts show in Washington DC next weekend.

First, I want to share two new necklaces that are based on my Woof and Roll collection of prints. They are super cute silver roller skate pendants that have rhinestones on the wheels. Individual skate pendants and a deluxe necklace with a bow/two skates are available for sale now! Choose blue, yellow or green gems for the wheels. Check ‘em out:

Woof and Roll with a Spring Thing

This spring is going really well. I am enjoying being a new momma and getting back into creating goodies for Tsai-fi.

I have just finished a collection of paintings called Woof and Roll. Inspired by the fabulous warm weather pastime of skating, this collection of paintings is very happy and playful. Cute tattoos, rainbows and adorable pups make this series irresistable. Each of the lovely ladies always takes her pup when she goes for a spin on her skates. The media is goauche.
